First Big Buy-in Tourney: B&M or Online

I've never* played what i consider to be a large buy-in event. For me i classify that as being over $100 upto maybe $300.

*(With one exception which was a $3 satellite on prima which netted me a $250 seat in a satellite tourney to one of the european WPT events)

So which would you recommend as a better way to get my feet wet, online or in a B&M environment ... and why?

  • I would say go B&M all the way for tournaments. I personally dont like tournaments online unless they are going to give me a chance to win a seat in a WSOP or WPT event.

So here goes. B&M you get the feel, not only the tournament. But the feel of the chips on the table... the feel of taking a huge pot of of someone and adding it to your chip stack. The casino environment itself, the hosts... the spectators. Just all that much more better.

    Just my 2 cents tho...
  • I voted B&M and I fulfilled it when I played in the first Brantford tourney.
