Kids

Ok...my kids always try to make me feel old...i guess they get a kick outta it. Ok, so i happen to have the grey hair of a 50+ yr old, despite the fact i am only 38 (39 in 4 mnths) but now...they have gone to far...
I just found out...i am gonna be a GRANDPA.....but ya know what...I COULDN"T BE HAPPIER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just hope they are fully aware of the "Laws of grandparent spoiling rights" Can't wait to get the little one their very first miniature poker table, complete with sippy cup holders, colorful plastic chips...the whole nine yards!!

    Be careful there Phil.....
  • LOL ...no..not letitia heights...I actually grew up in Toronto, but when i did move to barrie, it was up on Livingstone(before the entire area was over developed).
So i am sorry to say i wasn't your neighbor on Letitia Phil. But don't worry, i'm sure you'll make it out of the slums some year. Just hang on to your dream there Phil...you'll make it.
    LMAO
  • hahaha no not me, not even for mirrion dollars would i live in that area, ahhhhh sweet livingstone i am close:)
  • Congrats OP.... Maybe someday I'll be a grandpa... :)

Well it mighta already have happened a few times... but one of them is already an accomplished player at 5.

    edit to add.... unlike me...
  • Now my kids think i'm crazy...LOL. I told her she has to read to the baby while in the womb, so i gave her 3 great books (all on poker), then told her the little one will have to be with me 2-3 hours, 4 days a week for poker sessions. I figure by the time he or she is 9...they will be ready for their first WSOP. So i have 10 yrs to convince the WSOP to let a minor into the casino, strictly for the event of course. LMAO

Phil, if i had lived in the letitia heights area, i'm sure i woulda be a grandpa by the time my daughter was 12 LOL. I was on Livingstone(just off of sunnidale). Mostly while that new subdivision was being built.

Comp, an accomplished player at 5...Dam, my oldest son (18), likes poker, but seems to think that any "playable" hand...is an "all-in" hand. Hense the reason he is always out of games and tournaments ON the first hand, sometimes the 2nd hand. LOL
