Looking for a good online poker coach

So I've been playing on Fulltilt for the past year or so, read about 5-6 books on no-limit MTT and Sit-n-gos but I seriously want to improve and I've hit a little bit of a wall so I thought if I put a few hours in with a coach it might help.

I've deposited a few times, went broke, and then 2 months ago I deposited again determined not to go broke this time. So I tried depositing a less than I normally do, $75US and have worked it up to $800 or so. I play mainly sit-n-gos for anywhere between $10-$30 right now.

Does anyone know of any good coaches out there or where I could get one?

Thanks for your help,
Corey

Don't know of any coaches off hand, but there are some good training sites out there like pokerpnwage.com and the cost of them for the year would prob be less than that of a coach.

Nice job running up the BR, but since you seem to be determined not to deposit again $30 SnG are a bit high for $800. I'd stay with the $10/$20 games.

Here are a couple of good articles on BR management:

Poker Articles - Basic Bankroll Management
Poker Articles - Are You a Bankroll Nit?

    Good luck at the tables
  • Thanks for the response. Do you belong to the training site? If so, is it working for you?

Also, this site seems to rock!
  • For sng training try thesngacademy.com or sitngogrinders.com Very cheap too
  • Post hand histories and we can help you out. I think there are enough people on the forum to give objective input.

And did blackmagic really just call this forum "objective" ...NOT ON MY WATCH!
  • We're objective. An example: Objectively speaking, you have nice tits. Not spectacular, you understand, or even disproportionately large. Just . . . nice. I will now GTFO.

I expect no disagreement, as we are fairly objective around here . . .

    How about destructive....is that a better adjective....LOL
  • No really Milo..I'm confused.

    Burn, wasted typing, compliment?

"Destructive" works- I won't tell him how to fix it, but I'll sure as hell blow everyone else's shit up.
  • objective- adj. based on fact; unbised

With this in mind, how is my earlier piost unclear?

I got lost at the part where you took your opinion and presented it as fact.

I have no idea where the girls rank in the grand scheme of things..but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you have not backed up your prev. post with science.

ps. I'll take mine over yours.
  • Holy fuck that was bad . . . Just re-read that shit. To quote Emily Latella . . .

    NEVER MIND.
