500+40 CPT poker tournament in Red Deer on apr 17 or 18th
Looking to sell a poker tournament seat I won on Sunday in Red Deer. I thought the tournament was for cash, and turns out 1st and 2nd prizes were seats to a poker tournament at the Cash Casino on the 17th and 18th of April in Red Deer. I tried to come in 3rd (actual cash prize) but when I went all-in over and over again with bad cards, I kept busting better cards and ended up being chip leader...didn't find out the actual prizes until I was at the final table...thats what I get for trusting my cousin that there was a cash poker tourny on.
So...the ticket is worth 500+40 for a deep stack tournament (10k starting chips) and slow blinds. I saw the list when I put my name down for the seat and there are currently quite a few people registered in the tourny and its still a month away. So the ticket is worth 540, if anyone is planning on playing in this then drop me a msg. My cousin said if it doesn't sell he'll buy it for at least 400, so not even remotely interested in a penny under that. First decent offer takes it, I could use the moving money as i'm going to vegas on my drive home
Reason for selling...thought it was cash tournament and I move back to the east coast this month (march). Spoke with the people who work at the casino, its 100% transferrable and you can play on the 17th or 18th (currently have it set as the 18th but can be changed).
Tournament is listed under the CPT site under the dates I listed. It won't let me list the site.

I live in grande prairie right now, but moving back to NB in 2 days. The ticket is in my cousins name now, who currently lives in red deer. I put it in his name to make sure there were no issues, and I spoke to the casino and they said there is no problem transferring it to another person.

Wrote you back, I'll be in vegas tonight (I think) and I"ll write you back then, until then I'll be driving.

Can you post?
Anyway,
Day 1 and Day 2 are essential Day1A and Day1B - top 10% move on. Max 132 players.
If you FAIL on Day 1A you can play Day 1B. No planning to keep days even, no plan on what blinds the final Day 2 will start on.
Therefore much more people will likely play Day 2. So potential for 6 or 8 from Day 1 moving on with only 60K-80K in play, meanwhile, Day 2 is practically sure to have 13 move on with 132K in play.
Makes it hard for rocks like me who want to play Day 1!
Levels are 30 mins til Level 8.
40 mins beyond Level 8.
10,000 in chips.
Probably antes but they didn't tell me so.
