WSOP satellites

  • Everest has added nice bonuses to its WSOP satellite program, including free airfare for a friend, being treated like a VIP, and matching the total winnings of their players up to $1 million. Unlike PartyPoker's $200,000 last-longer bonus pool, Everest is smartly redistributing the total bonus amount equally among all qualified players. This is a better system since with any huge last-longer bet, poker decisions can become corrupted. I can think of several scenarios where I would be forced to fold AA preflop at the WSOP due to PartyPoker's bonus system!
    4) Everest Poker: Steps satellites for U$13K and U$3,500 packages.
  • The $1k single table live satellites
at the RIO are very +EV, soft competition.

Have you played any everest sats? They keep cancelling on me, not enough players
  • No, I only played at PartyPoker. Note that PartyPoker support misled me by claiming that additional package wins would be credited in cash, but a friend who won 2 packages is now being forced to try to sell his package. I will no longer play any WSOP satellites at Party and will try to sell my package. I still want to go to Las Vegas and play the satellites at the Rio.
