Online Poker Superstitions
I thought it might be interesting to hear if people have any superstitions when they play online. For example: Do you always sit in the same spot (visually)? Do you keep a lucky item in front of you or wear a lucky hat/shirt...etc? Do you only play on certain days? Do you....well, you get the idea.

I assume you're making sure that the aliens don't read your mind (and therefore your hole cards) and pass the information on to your opponents. That must be the mistake I'm making when I try some of those bluffs but get caught in them.
As for wearing only a hat when you play online, well...umm...whatever turns you on.

Superstitions:
1. Never play more than 5% of your bankroll at any table.
2. Always play with tracking software.
3. Play at tables with worse players.
4. Never fold AA preflop.
5. Never play at Ultimate Bet.
6. Never play at Absolute Poker.
7. Never play drunk, tired or stoned.
8. Play with rakeback.

I never look at my account balance while Im playing. Mostly because I feel like it can only affect my game badly. If im ahead, its only human to want to try and protect a winning session and If im losing it can sometimes force me to press in situations that I probably wouldnt if I wasnt stuck.
Seat #3 (purely superstitious)
Block all other player's images (less distraction)
Never look at my tourney position until 1st break. (Don't it want to influence how I play)
So, like others who have replied, it's somewhat a combination of superstitions and strategy.
And of course, I've just got to try that "foil hat" idea (but I think I'll leave my underwear on).
Doesn't work if you leave them on...also doesn't work if you don't zap the alien energy out with a photo..and immediately post it on the internet.
Trust me, I know what I'm talking about...extra 50bb/hr MINIMUM.
