New newby
Hey all, been a Blackjack player for a while but recently got into NL about 3 months ago. Read a couple of books, played like a true newby donkey and have finally started to pick up some good playing tactics to complement the idiocy. Have lurked here for a couple of weeks as well and really learned a lot from you all.
Last night I played my 3rd small tourney and placed 4th out of 140. was a $40 rebuy but the rebuy/topup went to charity. So $560 out of a total $105 put in. ($5 50/50)
After talking it over with my buds that were also playing it seems I played decent edges which complemented the lucky cards. But I was sick and made a donkey move with top stack at the final table when I called the all in from the 2nd stack that I know to be a killer player. Completely didn't see the second 8 on the turn because I was starting to get really dizzy from the flu symptoms. Would have split 2800 with him as we had a final two chop deal. Oh well, live an learn (to not get sick the day of a tourney).
Truly looking forward to my first beat down from Krisy_sea. that is a talent that should be harnessed and sold as a service. GLA

Without even breathing hard first...nice work newbie! Welcome to the forum!
I've been known to have that sort of touch.
still trying to figure out "A/S/L?" though. And I think admitting that is setting me up.
You couldn't have done so 10 minutes SOONER. Now I lose the bet with Graham. Sheesh . . . women.
