Wel hello there

I was looking for information and I located this site and thought.........I think I would like to try it out. The originak information I was looking for a scattered all over, so I am going to look here.

Question: How many players actually use card protectors? Are special reasons they might use one over another? Would they have more than one?

There is a new concept coming in a card protector, it is electronic and is very cool. the prototype is now being developed and I would like to have a Canadians point of view. When we get it I would very much like to display it here, with discriptions and pictures. At the present we are calling it "Your Option"

More to come

Thank you. and hello there to all.

  • We all anxiously await your revelation..... Better not spam though, we are watching!

Electronic card protector, this should be good, flashing lights I hope? I always wanted one of those. Moose loves collecting unique poker stuff. I'm sure he'll be at the front of the line.... :)
  • No Spam being developed here. A Pool Ball, your choice in #'s 4 oz of weight protection over your hole cards. A good conversation piece. But, it might slow you down whe you have been dealt a seven six suited and the blinds are a littel high while you stack is getting short. you pick it up, look at the bottom and it will display FOLD,PLAY, or RAISE. Rembember It's Your Option. Or a chess piece is your CARD PROTECTOR, when it's your option, pick it up, look at the bottom and the display will be either PLAY, RAISE, or FOLD. Again it's your option.

Talk about freaking other out when you have a great hand and you state, "my protector says I should raise", you do and the hand is won and the table is freaked. The questions arise "hwe did you do that" Rember it was your option.

More to come. Please let me know what you think.
  • woah... that's like geek to the top ! lol
I like it.... but I wouldn't buy it... Can I download it?
  • If I can download a car to drive or dinner to eat/ It's a real item, an item to hold in your little paw and use on the table. What would you download?

Nice try, Pictures out soon with total discription. looking for comments from other poker players.

    Thanks
  • I think I play against people that use these to make their decisions already.
  • Oh really, please tell me more. There is nothing like this eletronic card protector anywhere, this is a brand new concept and product.
  • Still waiting for the word

I am pretty sure that 50% of online players are using something like this already. It might be a tough sale.
  • seriously...nearly every player at Aced uses one. Sklansky certainly doesn't make their decisions...
  • wow Moose..imagine if they had those at MXM or the $5 rebuy? I bet we could break $1000 top prize.
  • I once saw a dealer take a players card protector off his cards and muck his hand. Now I don't use a card protector but hold my cards in my hand.
  • Thank you thank you thank you for the information. I just saw the spinning wheel to help make your choice. its neat and simple.

The one that's on it's way out is in a Pool Ball any number, Your Option. once you turn it on your ready to palay all night long. When it your option, simply pick it up and look at the bottom. the rotation stops the 2 kilo hertz speed of the three flashing LED's and one will light up an action, FOLD. PLAY. or RAISE. Very cool and each time you look yov never know what you will end up with. Of course it is for entainment only and a conversation piece. It's a great deal of fun and keeps the tables I play at hopping.

The best fun is when I have a great hand and the pool ball says raise. I let everyone know that I am going to do what the ball says, it's a big deal and when the hand holds up I got em. they think on the next round.

If all goes well there will be a chance to have your name engraved on it.
