When you cash out and you get the money does it convert from usd to cdn?

Most poker sites you play on u.s. currency, so say for example u win $10 usd and u wanna cash that, say u ask for a cheque from the poker site, when u give it to the bank does it automatically change to canadian currency, from 10 usd to 12 cdn or whatever it is? thanks

  • It becomes dabloons
  • the cheque u receive will be in US$ and the bank will convert it at the exchange rate.

thanks, wut about if u cash in on moneytellers or something like that? does it automatically convert too?
  • If your moneybookers is in US funds (suggested) it will just move the US money there with no need to convert.

SOme sites like Stars will let you choose the currency of any check, and will convert it (at a reasonable rate) if you want it in Canadian.

Only thing you really need to avoid is having your e wallet be in a different currency then the poker room funds (other then click2pay which charges no exchange rate fee and requires Canadians to have Cdn accounts)
