Online Casinos

Anyone play? Recommendations on which ones are good?

Comments

  • What do you like to play? For slots I like the microgaming ones the best.
  • Craps mostly. I just signed up for 888 to see the software. Still debating if I should transfer over funds. I would just stick with Party Casino but they don't have craps, so I have to find something else.
  • Only used to Blackjack whore and had accounts on most of the ones with good sign up bonus...didn't touch craps on 'em though.
  • Betfair has craps, they also have zero house edge games. (not really zero but close enough). Only prob with betfair is that checks from them can't be deposited in Canada, so all transactions should stay with moneybookers. This was the case a year ago, not sure if its still the same.

how about cashback on your credit card?
  • I was playing on Bodog for fun and they're software is pretty nice. But realized they don't accept Canadians for real $.

888 software works nicely. 100% bonus up to $200 on first deposit. Good withdraw and deposit options too. Might try this one.
  • I haven't seen what the 888 sign up bonus has become over the years, but make sureyou read the terms and conditions for any bonus you take.. You could land up having to play something insane like 200xBonus in play before you can cashout anything..

Anyway, if you like the microgaming software, 32red gets rave reviews from casinomeister.com
  • Hi there,

Just wanted to let you know that Betfair deposits withdrawals straight to your bank account. It takes 2-3 days and it costs $5.

Betfair also deposits back to your Visa Card. Not Mastercard (Mastercard rules for online gaming companies).

    Moneybookers also works.

Curious to know what happenned with the cheque. Canadian banks should take them...? Can u let me know, please?

    Thanks,

  • Ah, I remember the good old days before online casinos caught onto people destroying their BJ match bonuses...1000s a month for doing nothing was good fun.
  • I have a deal for Betfair where you get $100 FREE... see here:

My cheque was refused by my bank (CIBC). When I talked to Betfair support after they said that cheques were unable to be cashed in Canada for whatever reason. So they cancelled the cheque and put the $ back in my account. When I inquired about the Bank charge that I was charged for a denied cheque, I never heard back from support.

Let me know if this has changed, thanks Rob.
  • Hi guys:

Not sure where this conversation thread is right now...went in a different direction above...

But, just to let you know, Betfair will have a local Canadian bank account through Envoy Services, in about 10 days. This means whenever you withdraw funds, you get a bank transfer from a Canadian bank straight to your Canadian bank account. It will be like an Interac money transfer.

Will let you know when this is 100% live. Just doing some final testing with a group of custs this week.

    Thanks,

    Rob
  • I'll give Betfair some props. I had a problem a while back while playing there, mainly it had to do with half time wagering in the NBA and not fulling understanding that different rules apply. I posted about it on another sports forum and Rob stepped up and helped with the situation when he really didn't have to. Very good customer service IMHO. The deal Graham posted is a good one for anyone looking to play online.
  • Betfair now have a local Canadian bank account through Envoy Services. Also Moneybookers is the cheapest way to go so i would use them. We have a $50 sports betting bonus with them right now as well

    Betfair.com - $50 Free Bet

    Thanks,
