Play more home games on a regular basis outside my own. Host a few cash games throughout the year, or maybe hold a satellite to a bigger event somewhere. Play more live tourney's than last year (only did 1 last year). Hit at least two undergrounds and play some cash games. Make at least three trips to a casino and maybe play a casino satellite. There's talk about some Hill players making a trip to Vegas in April, would like to try to do that one, just not sure if its possible yet.
Keep the Hill games running for another successful year! Hey, maybe even win a few more than I have been.
I want to get better playing small ball deep stack cash games.
Move up hopefully to 5/10 and 10/20 NL.
I'd like to average $2.5K/week next year.

Why? You get more with a simple rakeback on other sites unless you hit 300k+ fpps.
What I've read suggests Supernova is equivalent to 27% rakeback (or more as you move up). I have an account already at FT without rakeback, or I might play there. Do you have a link showing otherwise with respect to Stars?

That is correct more or less. Once you collect the 1st supernova bonus of $1500 for 100,000 FPPs you will be getting the equivalent of 28%. As you continue to collect FPPs these bonuses get bigger and at the supernova level you can get as high as 35% (based on redeeming your points for bonuses).
Also, since you get access to all the monthly/weekly supernova tournaments (some which are around $50k or something) you can potentially make even more.
The highest levels of supernova elite are equivalent to roughly 60% rakeback, but you are gonna need to play a hell of a lot to get there

I haven't read up on this for a while, but I think this is one of the main threads on 2+2 -- let me know what you find out.
I'm counting on mostly tournament scores. Cash game wise i'm at 200/400nl and 10/20 & 20/40 limit. This goal is also double from 08, but might as well aim higher.

I assume you're a big multi-tabler to want to make $100k playing 60h/month
I like actyper's goals the most so far. I achieved my first 2009 poker goal of winning a seat to the CPT Finals, but here are some other goals I have written down.
- Unlike last year, PLAY more instead of spending way too much time in poker forums.
- Win satellites to WPT NAPC, BCPC, any other Canadian event, EPT Scandinavia, and/or EPT Atlantis 2010. I look for a tax-free location (NOT US) and as much cash prize as possible instead of too much being taken out of my prize for accommodation and/or flight.
- Cash in a Casino Employees Event at the WSOP, Binion's, etc. Avoid playing US tournaments due to 30% withholding rake. I don't have a goal of playing in the WSOP ME, but may play the satellites if I can sell the seat.
- Win a seat regularly to the $1 million, $300,000 and other guaranteed online tournaments with an overlay.
- Upgrade to a bigger house by the end of the year closer to Fallsview!
Isn't it more difficult to multi-table tournaments? Four-tabling cash games is easy enough because you can use the same static strategies. With the tournaments I play that can have rebuys, 5, 10 or 15 minute blinds and different stages, I have different strategies for every table so I don't like playing more than three tournaments at a time.

I can tell you that the #1 online MTT in Canada 12 tables and he isn't that bright a guy -- personally, I think MTTs are much easier to MTT > 4 at a time than cash, but I guess it depends as always
-Make the transition from live Limit play to live NL play.
-Make at least 1 trip a month down to Niagara
-Visit at least 1 Casino I haven't been to before quarterly and pick up chips for collection
-Actively study more written materials to improve my game
-Make one poker related post to my poker blog weekly even if it's just a live poker update
-Spend more time playing online poker tourneys, SNG's and cash games (I haven't played online in over 3 months)
- Actively attempt to learn more from experienced tourney players (cough, blondefish, cough) and learn how to determine which tourneys I should be participating in.

Also the 1st hour of mtts are either incredibly boring or basic and doesn't require too much strategy.
Another thing is I play 6max cash tables and mtts are generally full tables.
My goals are modest. Maybe my goal should be to have bigger goals for 2010.
Online
1. move up to NL100 (with appropriate bankroll). I'm currently beating NL25 with 25 buy-ins. I started with $20 and I'm working my up.
2. Cash in the Sunday Millions. Last years goal was to satellite into it. This was accomplished with a $4 buy-in to a steps sit-n-go then a bubble in the Sunday Millions.
3. Get a second monitor and work on my multi-tabling.
Live
1. Continue to keep my home game alive and thriving.
2. Buy some Paulson chips for the home game mentioned above.
3. Pick up one more weekly home game for me to attend.
4. Actually keep a poker bankroll so I can move back up to 2/5 NL. I'm beating 1/2 soundly but I keep spending the money (I'm a student so I kind of have to) so I can't move up. When I was working, I was playing and beating 2/5.
Personally I don't think you should have a goal of "cashing in the millions" Come bubble time you might make some -ev decisions just to hit your goal when you should at least try to make it as deep as possible. Especially a tournament like the sunday millions which has a flat tourney structure when min payouts are not much more than the buyin.

Ah, that makes sense. I'd have understood 200nl or 400nl but putting them together confused me.:o And made me think he was a high rolla!

Yeah. Not 60 table hours, that would pretty much be impossible. Though I only 4 table cash games and 8 table tournies (sundays).
