Question about 2 hands

Playing the Tier 1 S&G on FTP. Top 5 get a $26 token and 6th gets $14.
Was wondering how you'd play these 2 hands.

Both happened with 6 left.
Table has been pretty much raise it and take it.

  • So you've already got $14. guaranteed, and the difference is only $12.? ummm, call all day with the QQ, the AK suited, that one depends on my reads of op... Has he been raising often? Would he likely do this with A,Q or worse?
  • 1st hand, wow tough one, depends on what read you had on him and how he was playing before hand.

    2nd hand i think i call.
  • oiiiiiiiiiii how dare you steal my answer, lol

  • fold both

wait for micros to bust you into $$
  • Smells like rags in both hands when he shoves. He is mid stack with no worries of being eliminated anytime soon. Both hands look like steal attempts as it looks like he has made the same observation as you.

Also based on the chip stacks he knows the BB is not going to call anything unless he has KK+ because he is guarenteed a seat and the SB is not calling anything unless he has KK+ because he doesn't want to bubble for the seat.

In both situations I call and go for the kill. Even if you miss you still have 2K in chips. Plus you already made the money just reload another. You also never know someone else may wake up with a hand and knock you both out and because of your chip stacks you finish with a seat as well :)
  • Downloaded a trial of SnG wizard and ran the tournament through it (Had to customize it a bit). In a standard SnG these are both call/push hands, but in the satty they are both folds.
  • I play a lot of those tournies as well..and I have found anyone pushing around that bubble mark with a half decent stack is pushing with nearly any ace and any pair. With already being 6th, I call both in a heart beat.
  • second hand call

edit: TBH I call the first one too because I'm crazy like that, but I think the correct answer is to fold
  • Insta call them both, knock him out and end this madness.

    stp

    shipp it
  • Agreed. Does SNG Wizard say to only call with Aces in both situations?

  • A more interesting question is ..., "Would you fold KK or AA here?"

    These are both clear folds.

Only the 1st hand posted. with the 2nd one, there are no hands to call/push.

    These are both clear folds.

Not sure if I could, even knowing it's the right move.
