CPT Magazine was at fallsview yesterday, I grabbed a copy, a lot of good articles in it as I was scanning through it tonight (I'll read it on the bus ride to work tomorrow)...I booked a quick 2 hour session before my night at Dragonfly...
Cards = Brag (paid for dinner/club ticket/drinks)
Dragonfly = Beat (g/f got hit with a flying drink (in the shoulder), confronted guy I was +ev against him so I was not worried, bartender (a friend of mine had him escorted out by security not before 2 unknown girls assaulted said guy...lol)
Noteable moments from yesterday from my session
Sat at 2/5 for 10 minutes before being moved to 5/5
1. 2/5 player busts and only has 95 to reload or has to goto bank, 1 player objects to him buying in at 95 instead of 100. I ship him 5 bucks (poker karma)
2. 5/5 game played like 1cent 2cent online, passive with one player instanta c-betting every flop...

Action is as follows...3 callers to flop, turn bet 100x3 callers, river bet 150x3 callers player 1 has Q9, player 2 has 99, player 3 who deliberated for 3 minutes and finally calls shows 55
I had to get up off the table because I couldnt hold in my laughter.
4. Board J J 3 A 5 (I have AJ utg with 5 people in)
I announce on the flop outloud that I check my trips, MP cannon bets 15, followed by 3 callers I checkraise to 45, turn is A, I lead in 50 and still get same callers, river is 5, I bet 100 and get called by 88 and A9
5. Board 6 6 J 6 8 (I have AJ BB)
I lead in 25 into 4 players, get 1 caller, turn is check/check, river I bet 5 bucks, get re-raised to 50, sit for a second and think of possibly folding due to villians wide range but action didnt make sense, so I call..villian flips over A8 (I got a good river card there)
2 hour sessions are fun....
Yeah they announced they would be closing for a month starting Jan/2/2009....I think this is the second time they have had this infraction too.
