Charity Poker Tournament - Stem Cell and Cancer Research Institute
Hi Poker Players:
I'm putting together a fundraiser poker tournament and casino night for the McMaster Hospital stem cell and cancer research institute. It’s a great cause helping with the early detection and prevention of cancer, and this ground breaking work is being done right here in Canada.

WHAT: Old Vegas comes to Toronto for one night- Saturday, January 10th, 2009 at the Arts and Letters Club in downtown Toronto (Elm Street). This charity poker tournament and casino night is to raise money for the McMaster Hospital Stem Cell and Cancer Research Institute. Your poker buy-in will go directly to hiring research assistants for McMaster Hospital to aid in the fight against cancer and you’ll have a chance to win some fantastic prizes.

For those that need to brush up on their poker skills there will be a free poker clinic beginning at 7:30 with the tournament starting after. There will be other casino games like blackjack tournaments as well.
WHY: In addition to helping a great cause, we have an amazing prize list for this charity tournament including a grand prize of a trip for two to New York City via Porter Airlines to stay two nights at the world famous THE PLAZA HOTEL! New York Hotel: The Plaza Hotel in New York City. Other prizes include phones, Blackberries, XM Radios, Toronto Raptors and Toronto Maple Leafs tickets and the list goes on and on!
It will be a great night for a fantastic cause.
