omaha 8/b See flop %?

Does anyone know what an average flop % in Limit Omaha Hi/low would be.

I guess for Holdem anywhere from 20-30% is considered "normal" for a reasonably tight player.

Just wondering how they would compare. I started playing 2/4 Omaha 8/B on UB last night and I think I was seeing too many flops. WAY too many flops

I think that 20%-30% in hold'em is quite loose. Maybe I play too tight but I think that is more then your share of flops.

I would agree that 20-30% is not all that tight for hold'em. 15-20% is where i usually play. I have had some success playing 2/4 omaha 8, and I see about 15-20% of flops for this game also.

From experience I find that about 20% is right for low limit O8. You'll get delt A2 on average once an orbit.. combine that with a usual call of the SB and free looks from the BB and some middle or late position As3's (or 4 to broadway) and thats somewhere around 20-24%..

As to the people that think you are too loose with 20-30% flop percentage in Low limit holdem. If you are seeing the flop less you are leaving profit on the table. If the see the flop more you are bleeding profit.

Anyway, Micr0be told me about your flop % from last night.. WAAAAY too many. I didnt think it was possible to have a % over 100..

well, you DO get 4 cards, and there are 2 pots. So that should multiply the % by 8, right? So that explains the 160%.
