I can't believe they only showed TWO ****ING HANDS of heads up play. I listened to the whole thing on the radio broadcast and was really looking forward to seeing some of the hands, especially the hand where Demidov had quads.........SO PISSED RIGHT NOW!!
I definitely would have liked to see more heads-up. A few factors that probably swayed the decision-making:
1) the two finalists were not very talkative or exciting to watch (Eastgate barely even reacted even when he won the thing!)
2) elimination of the first 7 took longer than usual at a final table and there were a lot of hands to be shown (in fact, they didn't even show the hand that knocked out Kelly Kim)
3) they probably only had a few hours to put together the heads-up portion so they just tossed in the biggest couple of hands that would fit in the allotted space they had left over after the other 7 eliminations.
Not saying they were correct decisions though. Perhaps with more editing time they could put together a 3-hour version which includes more final table and heads-up play. I doubt it will happen though, unless they release a DVD of the WSOP with "bonus footage".
