Toronto poker club promotes some $60 tournaments regularly. I've never been, so can't comment. Their info comes to me through listings in <meetup.com>, together with meetings from lots of other organizations that might meet your personal interests. As I recall, you have to join the meetup.com site to participate, but i forget. If you pursue it, try accessing info@meetup.com.
