getting a new Notebook HD
hi, i'm buying a new notebook HD
i have 3 choice, all western digital
1. WD 320GB 7200RPM $117 CAD
2. WD 400GB 5400RPM $122 CAD
3. WD 500GB 5400RPM $163 CAD
QUESTION
1. is western digital a good brand compare to other HD maker?
2. how much difference is 7200RPM compare to 5400RPM in speed? would i feel any different playing poker and importing with HEM?
my current HD is 160GB 4200RPM.
it take about 15 month to fill it. i only got 9GB left
note: i could unistall office and other app, but i do use them.
roughly 10GB MP3 music.
i'm troubling between speed 7200RPM or space both 400 and 500GB will ensure not to run out space for 2-4year....by that time, i would get new HD already....lol
