There's more people there ready for change than you'd think. There was a Texan business associate of my father's here last night so we took her to an Obama victory party to watch the polls. She was an ardent Obama supporter.
I was really surprised to see how much support Obama actually got from Texas. McCain still carried the state but it wasn't nearly as in his favor as I expected it to be.
You forget that I am a native Southern Californian.
