PLO at Fallsview?
Ive heard from a few people that they have been running PLO at Fallsview.
Just wondering if anyone has any info, or has played it there. Apparently its NL Omaha high but the table agrees to play it Pot Limit. Dunno what limit though, Im assuming 1/2 but could be wrong.
Also, can you call ahead and put your name on the list like Brantford and Port Perry?
Any info would be appreciated, thanks

No Limit Omaha, rather than pot limit, is a flawed game... skilled players will kill off the fishes far too quickly ... why not take a months leave of absence....
Pretty sure it's because pot-limit games aren't yet sanctioned by OLGC or whoever since Ontario has ridiculous gaming laws. There's always been at least a 5/5 game running during NAPC.
It takes a special kind of genius to be able to quickly calculate what a pot size bet is

There is a valuable lesson to be learned from the excerpt above; it is a fine example of the proper use of a semicolon. The use of the semicolon is misunderstood at best; outright butchered in general, and usually neglected by the unwashed. I applaud your valiant attempt to bring a higher standard to the forum. It is a shame that you have defiled such a wonderful ideal with such an outrageous spelling mistake. B- This butchery; however, is such an atrocity; I am left speechless! F
Grammar Police
I know it's government and all, but why would pot limit games need a special sanction apart from NL games?
- No iPods so you can't listen to music.
- You are not allowed to use any electronic device, even if you're not in the hand and you step 20 feet away from the table just to look at the time in your PDA or cellphone.
- The dealer has to manually count the 52 cards every five hands or less, which drove players like Daniel Negreanu crazy.
- Only ONE person was allowed to take pictures at the WPT NAPC!
- That photographer could only take pictures two times a day. If there happened to be a break in those specified times, he was screwed.
- He would be shadowed by a security guard and another casino employee, as if he's a dangerous terrorist.
- During this time, no reporters were allowed on the tournament floor!
- The poor guy could only take pictures from the shoulders up - no cards, chips, or tables in the shot!
- Media that were pre-approved but were not with the WPT were restricted to brief periods in the field, and during that time they needed to have a security escort.
- Most of the media weren't allowed in the final table room and were forced to cover the event far away from a monitor.
As an aside, the WPT told me to take off my Canada jersey during the final table taping, and wanted a guy to remove his yellow shirt because it was "too bright" for TV. The room was cold, and the new WPT hostess Amanda Leatherman (see my new avatar) and gorgeous showgirl doing the money presentation must have been freezing in their sexy outfits. >:D
