  • Was there another way to get paid better?
You play $50 SNGs and you're asking if you could have made more from a pair of 2s or K high? Really?

Only way you might have made more is by shoving pre-flop.

P.s. add rituallion to your friend list
  • I was more concerned...that should I have been able to tell from the betting that he wasn't with the ace...
Yes, I play 50 and 100, and I do alright..but everyone here seems to be much above that, so, no harm in asking right? I have learned a lot here...and I know my play is far from good.
  • Is it just me or does that look like pretty weak play for a $50 SNG?
  • yes!!!!!!!! if it is like that why am i not playin those:)

  • with an ace on the flop, you are pretty well done; not unless you happen to hit a king on the turn or river; then you might have made more money with the other player holding the case king. I would bet on the flop to see if you get any resistance and try and take it down there. Nobody else really hit so your not making any more money on this hand.
  • I think a bet on the flop would have shown where the other players were. You bet pre-flop, why didn't you represent that bet by betting on the flop? If someone called pre-flop with A9- suited (not unheard of), you may have been able to push them out.

But yeah, I agree that the calls pre-flop would suggest that someone must have an A. Next time just try to think about putting out a feeler bet and represent your pre-flop raise on the flop. I'll try to take the same advice, :), cause I probably would have done the exact same thing. That A is scary in that situation.
