  • There are a bunch of decent tournaments this weekend, but the best for me are the WPT satellites at Fallsview Casino. With only three weekends to go before the WPT NAPC, a lot of people I know are headed there this weekend. If I end up on the same satellite with a bunch of people I know again, I'm going to wring their necks while shouting, "Why the f*ck didn't we just play our own rake-free satellite first!?" ;)

I'll update this thread about the free tournament in Toronto on Saturday.

Also - Seldex - If you still run those tournaments in the East end can you PM me?

I have been out to a couple - probably over a year now though.
  • The Score is throwing a street party in downtown Toronto, which includes a free poker tournament. I was invited for a business meeting there, but the Gardiner Expressway will be closed on Saturday from the DVP to Humber River, so I'll just stay at Fallsview and have the meeting at the Blue Water Classic VII next week.

    Date: Saturday, September 20, 2008
Location: Diesel Theatre (56 Blue Jays Way, Toronto)
    Registration: 12:00 noon
    Tournament Start: 1:00 PM
Prizes: CPT Tournament Buy-In Certificates: First Place: $1,000, Second Place $500, Third Place: $300
Structure: 15 minute levels to accommodate the scheduling of the TV presentation to the winner at 7:00PM.
Limited Seating: only 70 seats are available.

thanks, probably would have been a waste of time trying to get into a tournament with only 70 seats available. I think I have a better chance at the WPT seat tournament coming up this weekend in downtown TO with a relatively free buyin.
