I originally got the Monty Hall problem wrong, just like many math professors. It shows how difficult and counterintuitive probability (including poker) is for people. As a casino dealer, supervisor and player, I regularly see a lot of misconceptions made by people in gambling and probability. Maybe one day when I am having a bad day and an obnoxious player who never tips keeps demanding a deck change, seat change and dealer change to "change his luck", I will jump across the poker table and wring his neck, while screaming, "The probability doesn't change, you *&^%$#@! idiot so quit wasting everybody's time!" >:D
