Info on Deposits

Having just won a local live tournament (Nothing big...cleared over $500 after the buying is taken off) I'm thinking of putting a bit of the winnings into an account or two online. I haven't done any deposits since Neteller went down, and was just wondering what seem to be the preferred methods for us Canadian players. I'd love to hear some reviews and methodologies if you kind folk don't mind.

Cheers

  • Moneybookers, but try not to leave any money in there for any significant period of time. If you don't plan to do alot of deposit/withdrawal and move money between sites, and you don't want to have your information out there, you can probbably stick with just using a credit card. I've never used Click2Pay but thats also another option.
  • I prefer credit card. Not all sites will take every card, but you can try a few and see what works. I personally hate moneybookers after having funds stolen from my account on what appeared to be an inside job. 7 transactions in under 1 minute which is not possible to do yourself. Their support is completely useless if you run into issues like this and they dont even have 24/7 security or a 1-888 number.
  • I personally use Instadebit...comes out of my account instantly..and refunds are very quick. Never had an issue with them with lots of refunds.
  • I like the idea of Instadebit...though I don't see a withdrawal method (I sure do miss Neteller). Unfortunately PStars doesn't have Instadebit.

The more info the better...actually it'd be nice if we had a reference page on the board that shows deposit methods and pros and cons....it would be a big help for new players as well.

    Cheers
  • If you want to just stick to a site or 2, just credit card it in. If you think you want to eventually play on multiple sites, moneybookers is pretty much the best option. But yes, their support is quite slow and useless.

A withdrawal method? Just click the casinos withdrawal option..goes to your instadebit account. Do what you like from there..put it in your bank account or another casino..whichever..

I like the idea of a references page:D
