Pete and I were just enjoying a late night airing of a later 90210...featuring such greats as Hillary Swank and Tiffany Amber Thiessan..
The idea was brought up that current teenage sitcoms ie: Smallville, Gossip girls etc hold to a MUCH higher standard of appropriate hotness.
So the debate is: "Would 'saved by the bell" era Tiffany Amber Thiessan be hot enough to secure a spot on any of the modern day teen dramas?

I can't vote because getting on a show depends on casting couch ability. I think some field research is necessary to properly answer this question.
Ugh... I just flashbacked to the dreaded "Smallville" days at Mario's place... we had actually developed a drinking game, and one of the (most often used) rules was you had to have a drink whenever Lana Lang trumped someone else's misery with her own drama.

Wholesome girls can be pretty, or beautiful, or attractive. Wholesome girls are not capable of being hot.
Wholesome is in essence the polar opposite of skanky. We all know that skanky = hot. Therefore a girl can not be hot and then become skanky because she already is in effect skanky.
