Hey PokerForum,

Thanks for having me. Great to see such an active Canadian poker forum.

I'm on PEI, I play poker a lot, mostly online and some bar donkaments. I've done alright in the past but as online poker changes, I've had to adjust. Live, I like to play mixed games, no so much online.

I'm currently trying to beat $25nl full ring online and hoping to be able to get a lot of hands in over the next few months.

Noticed this was one of the more populated Canadian poker forurms so I thought I'd join.

    Poker scene is alright. There's still a decent amount of bar tourneys but they usually ran pretty poorly.

    There's the CDPEC which has $200nl and $500nl.

    They're also having the Atlantic Poker Championships there in Oct, which is a $500 buyin, two day event. Should be interesting.

    One bar has a $40 tourney on Mondays, but no one seems to go, so I started showing up with chips and starting a $50nl cash game instead. It's pretty great getting bar players to play a cash game.

    I love this idea!!! Did you make it .25/.50 50 max?

    Yes, $.25/$.50nl $20min $50max. We played half PLO and half NLHE couple weeks ago. Some scary pots.
