Evan Tanner, 37, has been found dead. His body was found in a State Park near the California - Arizona border. No other details have been released, other than that he had last been heard from last Wednesday, while camping in the Park. The former Middleweight champion was more than just a fighter, setting up a foundation to assist underprivileged athletes. He was recently broadening his scope by working as a correspondent for Spike.com, as well. Always an interesting interview, who took every opportunity to veer away from discussing the fight at hand, so that he could talk about what was interesting to him at the time. Everything from philosphy, politics, etc. He was an eclectic guy.
