Very very cool chip group buy on CT right now

"The Jubilee" 1/4 Pies Now Available ... - Poker Chip Forums-ChipTalk.net

Fully customizable ceramic chips:

Full Sets
There will be a minimum of 100 chips for a "Full Set" order with 25 chips per denomination.
Pricing is per chip and breaks down as follows. These prices do NOT include shipping or PayPal fees. I expect shipping to be around $15-$16.

NON-ALIGNED CHIPS
100-299 $1.00
300-499 $ .80

500-999 $ .75
1000-2499 $ .60

ALIGNED EDGE CHIPS
100-299 $1.25
300-499 $1.00

500-999 $ .90
1000-2499 $ .85

The chips for full sets have a couple of options for personalization.

FAUX MOLD OPTIONS
Mold can be either "HOUSE" or "STANDARD".
If you choose "HOUSE" then you also have the option to specify the text displayed at the top and bottom of the chip. I can work with you on how much text we can fit in there but as a rule of thumb between 8-16 characters tends to look best.

BANNER TEXT
You can also put whatever text you'd like in the banner below the denomination. Again I will work with you on how much we can fit in there but I would try to limit it to no more than 15-18 characters.

  • Here is an example of the sexy customization you can do:

  • VERY sharp Moose, no doubt. Unfortunately a bit pricey for me at this time. Minimum 1000pc would run $600, is that right?

That's right and I would recommend the aligned chips, as in the pictures which would actually be $850 for 1000.

However, keep in mind these prices are reduced for the group buy and the designer is waiving his design fee for the custom changes. It would be very difficult to get a semi-custom design on this grade of ceramic for a better price elsewhere.

Unaligned semi-custom chips (you have to use their base/spot colours) at Nevada Jacks are $.79 ea, minimum order 500 and you must provide the design and their ceramic chips are not nearly the same quality.

So for aligned chips, it is costing you $.06 ea more than Nevada Jacks unaligned and $.19 ea cheaper for unaligned and you can change the secondary colours, denoms and text to anything you want for free.

Also I forgot to mention, it doesn't matter how many chips you order, as long as the total group buy goes over 1000 chips, then you will get the 1000 chip price, aligned or unaligned. The minimum order is 100 chips.
  • Those are VERY NICE chips. So, if I read your post right, I can order a 300 - 500 pc. set with denominations of my choice? If so I am very interested. Thanks Moose.
  • Yeah the std set is shown and you can see how I asked the designer to customize it. Changed the secondary colours, the text, as long as it fits the space. You can't change the base colour or the actual design. Everything else is up to you.

Just keep in mind these are ceramics. The house 'mold' is just printed on the chip, not actually indented into the chip.
  • So, whereas the ASM "A" mold is actually indented into the chip, this is merely printed on? Okay. Still a big improvement over my dice chips.

Yeah ASM's are molded clay chips. Ceramics are made from a plain white base and the colours are somehow printed on. You can do a lot more cool things with ceramics because you have the entire surface including the edge to work with, whereas clay chips you can control the spot patterns and colours but only as far as what patterns the manufacturer allows and then the inlay of course. You wouldn't be able to change the actual mold at all. Custom clay mold chips will run $1.40 per and up.
  • For those of us with cheap sets, can you please elaborate on aligned/unaligned.
    Thanks.

    Thanks.

Look at the picture of the blue chips above ($1)...Look at the top left chip, the chip is divided into 4 quarters...the printing on the face of the chip lines up with the matching printing on the edge. On unaligned chips the face will not line up with the colours on the edge...for a slightly less asthetic look.
  • Yes. Most ceramics are unaligned, basically because it takes extra work to make sure the print on the edge and each face of the chips are properly lined up. My ceramics below are unaligned, whereas the orange chips, which are clay do not have that issue because the spots are molded directly as part of the chip instead of printed on. With the small spots on my Desert Sands it hasn't really been an issue for me but with the large 1/4 spots on the Jubilee chips I think it would be more distracting if the spots were not aligned.

  • just ordered my sample set and waiting for my mock up to be done.

    They definately look really nice
  • post your mock when you have it
  • That's a sweet ass design.

    Are these Sunfly blanks?
  • AFAIK the manufacturer is ABC Gifts and Awards and they have their own blank which is of very high quality.

    Personalized Poker Chips
  • sry, dumb question
    if you drop cermanic chips
    do they break?
  • If you drop them on pillows, no.

If you drop them on ceramic tile, maybe. Ceramic is pretty tough. I have chipped a few of my chips but never actually broken one.
  • Those chips are so sexy I want to make sweet love to them....
  • Your chips are in!
