there are probably a few home owners on this forum, so what type of questions do you have? if they are general in nature, we can probably help you. My advice, stay away from 'Mortgage Specialists' not unless you can't get a regular mortgage from a big bank. The big banks will get you a better rate usually without having another person taking a piece of the pie.

Actually not true. It's better to use a mortgage broker who will shop around for the best deal. And it costs you nothing. Beats the big banks hands down. You know what they say about banks: "They hand you an umbrella when it's sunny, then take it away when it rains." Fuck 'em if you can.
