PKR Poker

Well I decided to withdraw my bankrolls from Pokerstars and FTP and try an easier site. I did ok on P* and was about even at FTP but realised I might want to start at an easier site while building my bankroll.

I found PKR poker, a 3D, UK based site with very soft play and good software. I see a lot of canadians there and although the peak times are during UK time and the variety/range of games are nothing compared to other poker powerhouses I must say my bankroll is growing at a very fast pace.

Does anyone here play there too? or has any other fun sites to recommend with a nice interface, friendly community and of course lots of fish in their waters?

  • I hate to burst the bubble of the skeptics, but IP checks out and it is a Canadian IP. I know many of the people at PKR and know they wouldn't spam sites.

Back on topic, PKR is a great site and I have been promoting them ever since their launch. If you want rakeback I have a site just for PKR rakeback and I can offer the max % (which is 30%) (PKR Rake Club, 30% PKR Rakeback, PKR Bonus Code, PKR Bonus). The rakeback is 100% automated so you will get it paid to your account in the 1st 10 days of the month.

I have played there so many times and after taking one of the worst beats and know that you can make a crapload playing the games there. Downsides of course are the long download (takes about 30 mins to download the software) and the play is much slower than you are used to if you currently play on any other poker site. But this is definitely made up for by all their bad players.

Anyway, welcome to the site El Rastrero
  • If I were to only play 1 table at a time, I would play at PKR.
  • Thanx for the reply Graham . I am not yet ( and won't be for a few months at least) averaging $500 rake per month in PKR so I won't be entitled to any rakeback. But I appreciate the codes.

Well said Actyper, yes it is mostly designed for 1 table play. It suits me well, I only play 1 table at a time when online. I find it really helps me concentrate,I take notes on all my opponents and feels more like live play (which is what I enjoy the most). I plan on going back to P* one day with a lot more experience and a bigger roll.Full tilt is fun but the fast play doesn't really suit my style.

I really hope the Casino de Montreal comes to an agreement with the dealers' association, we waited so many years for them to open a poker room just to be given automated machines ???

Actually there is no minimum. I have guys raking as little as $5 on rakeback ;) But, if you already have an account there is nothing that I can do.
