Buffalo Airport and Vegas

I'm off to Vegas later this week and leaving from Buffalo. For those who have gone this route which is better boarder crossing to get through in terms of time to get across and getting conviently to the airport. It looks to me that going through lewiston is the best.

Also while I am playing a private invite only tourney already on Saturday, I'm looking for a Friday night tourney to play that offers a reasonable structure and buy in. Suggestions here would be helpful too.

  • Absolutely Lewiston. Going across the bridge is a roundabout way to get to the airport.

As for Friday nights, cant go wrong with the Caesars 7pm, or the Venetian 6pm (If they have kept their deepstack schedule - but I think that's over).
  • Thanks for the help. I had heard the Venetian runs a good tourney. While I"m not a ceasars a friend is staying there starting Friday so I might check that out.

Yup totally agree...I have flown out of buffalo several times (most recently 2 weeks ago for my week in vegas)...

Park in lot B the long term cheapy lot, cost me 40 bucks for the week to park there and you have door to door shuttle.

The bridge to the airport is roughly 15-20 minutes barring any unforseen traffic.
  • As others have noted the Q-L bridge is your best bet. Nephew and good friend love that little airport. Good luck at the tables, Joe.
  • I have no opinion on which way to get into Buffalo, but wanted to wish you good luck at the tables while in Vegas...
  • I did cross at the rainbow bridge just due to the wait times at lewiston. Southwest out of buffalo seemed a little adventurous on take offs and landings.

See trip report for current status, but so far it is profitable.

    Thanks for the encouragement everyone
