    After I made my first million in play money, I turned pro. Sadly the fame and adolation of being a professional play money player was not nearly the same as being Mike Watson...

    Wouldn't it make more sense to buy-in for like $20 and play $.01/$.02? For $20 you would get 2000 cents that can go towards making you something like 4000 cents as opposed to 2,000,000 chips that aren't worth squat. Time to start building up my play chip stack to sell these things off :)

    lol, I say go back to school. There is always the Bellagio play money world championship in August. Oh wait, they haven't thought of that poker angle yet.

    Two guys I work with have sold their play money chips for cash.

    One of them turned 3,000,000 chips (playing the 50,000 and 100,000 SNG's) into $30 or so and worked it up to about $400 playing $5 and $10 SNG's.

    It's a long haul but some people do it if they can't, won't, or aren't allowed to deposit.

    What really amazes me is the people who buy play money chips.

    I've never seen anyone buy play money chips ... even the sites that claim to trade them ...
