I just love when Watts is excited :D
  • Go get em Mike... We're all watching, as best we can anyways... And you're right Johnnie, he looks absolutely over the top excited....
However isn't that a receeding hairline we see there..... ;)
Is it the pressure of poker?

Show how we do it in Canada..... You deserve a big live win Mike...
  • Good luck Mike!
  • Sir Watts is 29th in chips going into the start of Day 2. Keep it up and we will be cheering for you! What is a reasonable goal for the end of Day 2? 500k-1MM?
  • Depends on the chip races. Last year some how they came up with 8 or 900K more in chips. Hopefully Watts is on the receiving end of a couple of them.
  • Looks like Mike is down about 9K for the day so far, sitting at around 107K total. No real updates though.

    p.s. Go Mike!
  • Sir watts has posted 2 audio updates so far, not much going on in the first few levels. I'm following the world series of poker website updates. Anyone else finding better coverage ?
  • I haven't found anything mentioning him other than his 2 voice posts on tworags.com, seems like he's just floating a bit over 100K so far with nothing interesting happening
  • Anyone else finding better coverage ?

Does live watching in person count? :D
I was sweating Watts for awhile earlier today, and also got a text from him about 30 mins ago and he's down to 95K...
  • Post updates please. I've looked at half a dozen sites including pocket 5's.....and not really getting any info on Sir Watts.

Sorry, I'm not there anymore. Best I can do is just text him to see how he is.

    "62.5K getting owned"
  • bah..Thanks Wes..What time are they playing till?...I'd like to follow this online if i can find a site with decent updates. I'm sure cardplayer hasn't started with the radio coverage this early.

PokerNews is definitely your best bet as they have alot of guys walking the floor. However, Watts is still not yet one of the "big names" so he probably won't get much coverage unfortunately. I think they're playing 5 levels again tonight and usually wrap up around 3am Vegas time (6am EST)
  • gg................
  • Wat a Double-Up
Brandon Adams had just doubled-up Michael Watson. All the chips went in after the turn came out showing an board.

Upon seeing Watson's , Adams declared that he was drawing dead and was reluctant to show his . The river came meaning Adams is back down to 264,000, whereas Watson has moved up to 114,000.

    Ended the day with 114K

Keep it up Mike, sounded like a tough day. I guess you can't flop a set everyday lol. I'm sure you'll catch em' when it counts.

  • Good job Watts, sounds like a tough grind today.
    Good luck on Day 3.

Westside posted they were running until 6 am. Noticed Watts logged on here already. Assumed it was him. Ass me.
  • Looks like at the start of day 3, Sir Watts will be sitting between 500 and 540th place out of 1307 ppl.

The blinds start at 800/1600 + 200 ante, so Watts starts the day with an M of over 25 (if they play 10 person tables, is that right?) and the average stack is 104,000, So he's got plenty of play left.

Day 3 should get down to the bubble, which is 666th place.

    Go Watts!
  • Thanks for working that all out Dave.

Good luck today Watts. Hopefully there'll be the odd VBlog at TwoRags.
  • Looks like he took a bit of a hit:
