Tuan Lam Eliminated
2007 WSOP Main Event runner-up Tuan Lam has just been eliminated. Lam got the last of his chips all in preflop with , only to find his hand dominated by his opponent's . A king hit the flop, but Lam could not improve and he hit the rail shortly before the dinner break.

Very Unsatisfying
A series of escalating preflop raises. Three players, all in before the flop. Two with their lives on the line, another facing imminent ruin. Each thinking that winning this pot would give them a big stack early in the event that could possibly, possibly, propel them to the World Championship. The players reveal their hands: Rainbow flop, chop it up. Back to the grind.
Michael Watson PokerStars 37000
but sir watts is 2nd place right now!!!!!!!! with 68000 in chips, just behind patrick antonius.
Steve Biko Eliminated
There will be no gold bracelet this year for Steve Biko. On a flop of , he got in a raising war with Michael Watson that ended with Biko calling Watson's raise to 12,000. On the turn , Watson moved all in and Biko called. Biko held an overpair with , but it was far behind Watson's . There was no queen on the river. Biko is out and Watson picks up a big pot to move to 53,000 in chips.
Willing to Fold A-A Preflop
Rick Fuller opened the pot for 800, a late position player reraised to 2,800 and Fuller moved all in for 12,000. The LP player paused and took her earphones off as she asked the dealer to count down Fuller's stack. About a minute later, she called and rolled over .
"What took you so long?" asked Fuller as he turned over .
"If you had me covered, I would have folded" she replied.
The aces held and Fuller was eliminated.

100 Tables Left
There are just 100 tables left in play here in the Amazon Room. With the board currently reading 900 players, the average stack is just over 152,000 chips.
We've lost 407 players in just under 220 minutes, which equates to an elimination of roughly one player every 33 seconds.
That is all.
Nikolay Losev Eliminated in 28th Place ($193,000)
Nicholas Sliwinski and Nikolay Losev have been sparring all night long and their final confrontation is our final hand of the night. Again the action was folded around to Sliwinski in the small blind, and this time he chose to simply call. Losev was having none of that--he raised to 775,000. Sliwinski then moved all in, meaing Losev had to decide whether to call for his last 700,000.
After tanking a bit Losev made the call, and his {3-Hearts} {8-Hearts} were up against Sliwinski's {A-Clubs} {5-Hearts}. Losev had two live cards but the board ran out {10-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {4-Spades} and Nikolay Losev was our last elimination of the night, finishing in 28th place. When play resumes tomorrow Sliwinski will have a 4.9 million stack waiting for him.
Even if Losev thought Sliwinski was bluffing.... what could he beat? lol.
Pardon my laziness, I don't want to take the time to google each name, but is anyone left a true contender? Or are they all amateurs?
LOL I can't believe I totally misread that before I posted it.
I thought Losev was in the SB, limping in, and then swlinski raised it up putting losev all-in and he called with his 8-3. My bad. Totally reversed their names when reading it.
I'll go take my dyslexia pills now.
my bad?
Tiffany Michelle
Me too, though she has been having a rough day so far, but still alive. Hopefully she can come back. At 4.6 mil in chips right now.
She is now eliminated
If you read the pokernews statement, there is good reason why not to cheer for her.
I guess were all cheering for Scott and Darus now!
