  • For that Pot? Yep, you call it

You know he has the str BUT you have a 25% to catch either full or quad, for a 20% pay pot. Plus who knows the players, looks like you at least had a caller with just an over pair.
  • i would probably fold it on the turn as well, as it was blatantly obviously there was some1 w/ the str8 however, i would 3-bet it on the flop making it more expensive for the chasers of that gutshot or even possible flush draw (2 spades) but i dont think $1 more was going to get them out, so you saved a small bet......and you only had 10 outs going to the river (to win)......3 3's,3 4's, 3 5's and 1 2 remaining.....more often then not your going to see the brick fall on the river and your set will be no good.....your already aware at that point with the check - to a bet, and a raise, that their hand is made and your still drawing..... even if a 6 did come on the river, it would be possible chop-chop but what if someone had 67 or the odd 7....? i'd lay it down.......good fold

by the time the turn came there was only 9.50 in the pot (if i added right, but it doesnt appear so so disregard it), not counting how much was raked..... i think it was a good laydown w/ only 10 outs to save you......putting an additional 8 bucks into a 9.50 (even though your getting 2-1 on your money)pot........get em next time for chasing.....
  • Preflop: $6
    Flop: $2*4 = $8
    Turn: $8*3 = $24

You had 10 outs with 46 unseen cards, needing a 4.6: 1 to call. $38 in the pot so far, so minus the rake ($1.75), there is $36.25

Giving you 36.25: 8 = 4.5:1 ish to call. Not sure if I would call either, but there was partial odds. But with possible dead cards in hand, I think it is appropriate to fold.
  • Yah, My math is screwy late at night for somereason I had it that the pot was at $46, but at that point it is only $22 so yah my was way off...

Good fold, tough especially when it hits
  • The math is so close that I would call here on implied odds. If the turn betting is any indication of the players skill level there is a good chance that if you hit they will pay you off big on the river. You might think that a pair on the board would slow them down but at low-limit this is often just not the case. From the betting on the river it seems likely you could have at least 3-bet it if you stayed in. They certainly are not going to be able to fold their straights so you should get at least 2 extra bets on the river in the worst case, but likely a LOT more. Oh I just realized 10 outs in 46 is 3.6:1 not 4.6:1 so this is an easy call.
  • good fold on turn

Bad play on Flop.. you need to make that 3 bets and call a cap there if re raised..

Your ahead and don't want them drawing out so gotta make em pay..

5 misses the turn and and you loose bets...
