Blondefish takes Vegas.. Good Luck!!
As this is Buddy's first real poker trip to Vegas starting this Sunday, just wanted to wish him good luck with his WSOP tournaments and the other high patience factor tournaments he is planning on playing. I expect to see you at the top of the leader board in the WSOP events you are scheduled for and hopefully you can continue your reign as satellite king with a main event entry.
Looking forward to some good trip/tournament reports.

Bring home some BLING boys!
With a schedule like that I'd start by putting myself on a 3am-11 AM sleep schedule.
After busting out, I'd take a couple of hours off and look for a juicy side game.
Good luck Buddy!
I guess that makes the 3 of us.
WSOP Event #52 is sold out! It's a good thing that my airline phoned me on Sunday morning to change my flight from Buffalo airport to Toronto airport, so I got in three hours earlier and was able to register last night. Luckily, I saw my sponsor walking by at Rio and he gave me the money for my buy-in. We were taken by limousine to Rio this morning. The tournament starts in 40 minutes, so I'll try to post an update later....
Good stuff - you have already won 2 coinflips!!
PS I don't know how to do quotes on here...duh
What the hell...winning life-flips already...first round's on you when I get there buddy.
Quote from Cardplayer update of event #52.
"Rockets -- Part One
Seat 10 was next to under the gun, and with blinds at 300/600, and with 18,775 in chips, the player pronounced himself all-in. Play was folded around the table and it appeared the move would go uncontested. Then Eduardo Handall in the big blind looked down and found himself staring at AA. What did you expect him to do? His call, for 10,000 even, proved to be up against the AQ of seat 10. The flop could have been dangerous, coming 643, but Handall held the only heart. It came into play with the K on the turn, and Handall doubled up.
Rockets -- Part 2
It didn't end there. Now seat 10 was under the gun, and with the rest of the table waiting impatiently, the player brought out his notebook and began making various calculations, seemingly stunned at the turn of events. After almost a minute, he then stunned the table by again announcing "all-in". A collective groan followed, until play got to Elliot Smith, already among the chip leaders. Smith then asked for an exact count, which the dealer provided. It was 8,700. Smith made the call, and when the rest of the field folded, Smith delivered the bad news. Now it was his turn with the rockets, holding A A . Seat 10 entered the showdown with 8 6 . At least he can say he lost to the nuts, as the flop came A 10 3 , giving Elliot trips, then the A on the turn produced quads. Suddenly there was a seat open at table 4."
Say it ain't so, Buddy.
The guy in seat 10 sounds like a guy in the same Table 2 as me, who was the only other person I saw ever using a notebook during all the tournaments I played. He was writing stuff when it was his turn to act, and I asked the dealer and floor if we're allowed to write when you're in a live hand which I was told at Fallsview was not allowed. The floor said yes, then the guy went all-in yet again!
So the answer is no, I was not that player and I'm not dumb enough to go all-in with 8-6 with a healthy stack. I was berated by a couple of players at the Binion's Series tournament I won since they didn't understand my $EV-maximizing all-in plays.
