A Couple Reasons to Play at Cryptos

1) Charming drunk Brits at night (ie: after bars close for them)

2) Conspiracy nuts during the evening Brit time

Oh, also decent bonuses and rakeback...

  • i always got this impression that crypto network are
    rock garden....
    is this still the case?
  • Not really actually. Most of the action is 6 max which kind of punishes overly rocky play, and the low limit NL games feature a ton of players who seem to feel they have to see every flop, so I am finding myself doing at times some utterly silly raises preflop (ie raise to $10-15 preflop in 50 buy in) with hands like AA or KK knowing one of the players will simply call, then I hope it holds post flop.

The Omaha games ($25-100 buy in) have a blend of regulars who are not bad (nut peddly), a couple people who literally play 1 hand in 40 or 50 as they grind out maybe a tiny profit from bonuses and rakeback, and a few who are complete maniacs. I have sat at a $25 buy in table that maintained an average pot of over $35 for nearly 2 hours. I have also seen tables with pot averages of about 75 cents.

Game selection dries up considerably after about 9 pm EST.

It is a great network for 25-200 buy in NL players who can play between 11 am and 8 pm EST as they have a ton of games going and the rakeback/bonus and extra incentives can't be beat. The drunk Brits are provided at no charge as well.

PM me if you want more specific information if interested in the network.
  • Don't think I've played any of the Crypto sites as yet, which one(s) would you suggest and are there some deposit bonuses I should use?
  • when it's the best time to play at cypto
i signup with little wood yesturday, around 2AM
it's pretty much a ghost town
little wood is still with cypto now, but their are moving to 888.com/pacific network.
888.com has 25% rakeback, and if i signup with littlewood now, i can get 30% rakeback grandfather accound. which it's nice. because 888.com is very passive and loose.
not to mention 30% back on casino lost, make BJ +EV
i'll give it a try. if i like, i may pickup another cypto site after littlewood moved.
  • Littlewoods cut of Canadians from bonuses so for now they would be the worst crypto skin to use. No idea about it if and when they become part of Pacific poker.

2 am is about 7 am Europe time and it will be dead then.

Best times to play are about 11 am EST to 8 pm EST

i just find out about it today
    after deposite and player.......
how long do i have to wait to cash out, after deposite?

i have to say crypto site
    6max, very loose
    FR, rock garden
since little wood is in pounds, i play 25NL as a tester
expect those player to be better then usd 25NL level, but no... so easy money.
    but MPP....150 hand, 13MPP.... slow....then no bonus for canadian....wtf
  • You can withdraw right away, though there is a $1 fee (or 1 pound fee if you account is in pounds).

Littlewoods was the worst choice to make for a Crypto skin =O

A much better choice is either Sun Poker or Interpoker through a rakeback affiliate if 25/50 buy in NL is the game of your choice. Sun requires no bonus codes or deposits for the monthly bonuses (though probably need one for initial deposit) so that may be a better choice if you are looking to keep it as simple as possible.

  • hey, what's the best way to get 32 MPP with 42bux
    i deposite $400 playing 12 table 100NL shortstack
i have to say it did not go very well
but i have $120RB coming. and if i can get another 32MPP i'll get 100 bonus (not sure if it's bonus in usd or pound)
I think with shortstack, i breakeven on the flip, but can't beat the rake.
  • buy in for the minimum at the $25 full ring PL Omaha hi lo tables (or Omaha hi tables). Yesterday evening the average pot at one of the hi lo tables was over $35 for about 100 hands, but even without that unusual situation you should be able to clear it without muich change to your bankroll.

Did you find the games at NL to be different then other sites?
  • i couldn't really say
since i was doing shortstack without HUD
and people may call lighter with shortstack
however i did suprise what people call my shovel with
KK open shovel $18bux , 95 sooted call
AA open shovel at big blind where sb limp. 78o call
I later check on the hold'em manager, i did find alot of 50+ VPIP.
    so there is definely action.
    but 6max only
fullring is pretty much fold festable, something donky come, but that don't last very long.

just to give you some insight on the 7,8 off and the brits. The name for this hand that most of the brits know it by is "The Banin" its named after a old UK pnl tv host named Mark Banin. The brits think this hand is as good as aces (only if the 7,8 is off suit) and even have a cult following for the hand, it can be found on many british poker forums. The rule of playing the hand according to the brits is that its a great hand to enter an un-raised pot with. So not sure why ya got a big call from it. I agree that playing about 4-9pm Toronto time against british players is a profitable time to play on most UK based sites. Good Hunting.

p.s - google "the cult of banin" see what ya get, you'll see what i mean
