cleaning poker chips!

Hi folks,

Just wondering if anyone has any special tips on cleaning poker chips or if it is even possible to do. I got my set from old roulette chips from the casino and over time have got fairly grimy. Any help would be much appreciated.

  • sounds like they are TRUE casino clay chips. In that case, I think you could be in a bind. You are not supposed to clean clay chips with water since they'll break down with the water. I remember coming across a site that had details on how to clean real clay chips. I will look and see if I can find it again... If only you had cheap chips.. lol

But at least you could then put the resulting blob on one of those spinny tables and make a nice vase.

Humour delivery note: That's probably funnier if you imagined the pronunciation to be something like "vaahhz".

    Maybe not.

  • Casinos rarely use real clay chips on the gaming floor because they just don't last. In fact, the only time our local Casino uses clay chips are for poker tournaments (which are rare in Manitoba).

They are probably clay composite chips.
