$5k PLO Final Table... Who is gonna win?

The $5k Rebuy PLO Final Table is stacked with great players... this one will be great to watch. Who do you think will win it?

Here are the current chip counts:
Seat 1: John Juanda (Las Vegas, Nevada) -- 694,800
Seat 2: Phil Hellmuth (Palo Alto, California) -- 119,000
Seat 3: David Benyamine (Las Vegas, Nevada) -- 1,041,000
Seat 4: Kirill Gerasimov (Moscow, Russia) -- 558,000
Seat 5: Phil Galfond (Madison, Wisconsin) -- 1,393,000
Seat 6: Daniel Negreanu (Las Vegas, Nevada) -- 460,000
Seat 7: Brian Rast (Las Vegas, Nevada) -- 1,176,000
Seat 8: Adam Hourani (East Lansing, Michigan) -- 300,000
Seat 9: Johnny Chan (Las Vegas, Nevada) -- 624,000

I wrote a brief blurb in my blog with a quick background on all the players:
Amazing Final Table for the $5K PLO Rebuy Event

It would be nice for Johnny Chan to win it so Hellmuth would come down of his cloud for a bit, but I think Benyamine and Galfond will be tough to beat. If I had to bet on it, I would probably pick Galfond.

Comments

  • Watch? They don't televise the non-holdem events. Which personally is too bad, but for the average commentator I am sure they would be stuck as to what to say on each hand.
  • Hellmuth is in very bad shape in this final table. He has to get incredibly lucky to pull it off, and I don't think he has any left. I'm hoping to see Chan take him out in the first two or three hands.

Overall, kinda hoping to see Benyamine, Negraneau, and Juana be the final three, with David taking it down. Don't think John is going to make it though either personally, but it would be good for him to win a bracelet...has he won one yet?

Yes..two or three if I'm not mistaken.

What is WSOP Live then (seen beside some events here: World Series of Poker - Official Tournament Coverage and Results

I thought they did tape some of the other big events also to show later. Maybe I am wrong... :S

    Which one?
  • The poker playing guy. Nah seriously Hellmuth. I am probably in the minority but I think he is probably the best player out there. When he is on his game he is very hard to stop. Also if it wasn't for luck he would win every tournament LOL. ANy idea what blind levels they are starting at?
  • well it's gonna be that Phil Hellmuth guy

    why?

'cuz I had him in every Fantasy Event til

    I decided to 'fire' him.

bad beat :( he wins his 12th bracelet

espn360 is not available in Canada!
  • Down to 3 players.... Chan, Hellmuth, Juanda, Negreanu all busto... Galfond, Benyamine and Hourani left.
  • Galfond has more than half the chips in play right now, def looks to be the favourite to win this one.
  • 1 hr dinner break, interesting to watch tho..... I would love to be playing this event.......
