No chaps he prefers to go pantless.
  • It's not just the semantics. It's the common knowledge that many top players were excluded. That's why it isn't looked upon as a "real" bracelet. Why not give the winner a ring or a necklace instead?
  • Using bracelets as a measure of poker ability is inexact to say the least.

    Follow the money.

Jen Harmond probably makes more at cash games then most tournament pros makes at tourneys.

Does she make as much as Jennifer Harman? ;)

So Jamie Gold's $12 Million says he's the best ever?
  • Did any female forumers play in the sold-out Ladies only Event at Great Blue Heron Casino last week? A Milton lady I have played with made it to the money in the fab five.

I was told that two men filed a protest and insisted on playing in the ladies tournament. One quickly busted out and was loudly jeered by the entire casino. So who are the two male forumers who have vagina-envy and played? ;)

P.S. When asked what the field was like, a lady said: "Two men, two youngsters, five senior citizens, and the rest were dykes."
  • I heard it was a lesbian trapped in a guy's body. That's one to stick on your poker resume. Seems fair to me. Don't recall any guy's only tournaments.
  • Kristy is right (Pick up your jaw dear), but, perhaps, for the wrong reason. Simply put, the WSOP belongs to Harrah's, and they can hold whatever events they wish. Ladies only, Men only, lefties only, whatever . . .
Where things break down is when private businesses are told that they CANNNOT carry out certain practices. I have no problem with Ladies only Health Clubs. I just wish the government would keep the same hands off attitude to business that would like to be Men only. Sadly, discrimination is fine in the former case, but not the latter. This, I believe, is what leads to the backlash.
