i'am tilting venting what ever its called i'am pissed

started this morning at 4am and have played 16 toureny's during the day and night til just now 9:30 pm every one i have been kicked out at the 100-to 150 mark just don't get it!!!! play well for 2.30 hours then bam i f.u.c.k. it up.--- the last three tourney's really bad all in the last hand.\, all the same way eg like this: had 36000 chips it goes like this: ace ten suited in the first chair go in for 1600 chips two callers one reraises 3900 i call, the flop ace /ten/. queen then he goes 7200 chips i think hard then call, ace on the turn i go all in he calls then river is king. he wins with ace queen

how can i not see this -thought my hand was tops but it wasn't two pairs lose to two prs. if i can't sense that whats the point of trying any harder to get better i don't know

tryed playing donk fest two tourney's won 19000 chips(200) and 22000(175) chips then lost out when i tried one too many donk moves but at least i had good chip count when i went out i guess i lost it time for sleep i guess

this is about seventeen days of 10 plus toureny a day(avg) if the meds are working i can get more if they don't ten is my max. i went from 500/700 out to 100/150 out but still no cash or tourney tickets or hats or water bottles or any thing.

how long do you have to play to see some advancement i can't play any more games in a day and at seven days a week i getting pretty frustttttrated
is there a light at the end of the tunnel. is their a natural ability maybe i don't have.
i kind have always been a guy who loses at everything he tries hoped this would be different.
maybe its true luck is there for some others not
sleeping pill is taking affect nite all

  • mtt variance is sick. 6 tabling med stakes turbo stt's and running unbelievably bad over 8 hours does strange things to one's mind and results in making dumb posts.

Anyway...iirc you have read 15-20 poker books. Try skipping the longshot donk filled mtt's at this level/stage...You should be able to pound on the micro stakes cash games. Try it. GL
  • Are these play money tourneys? The AT hand is pretty crappy when u both hit a boat, but it happens. Try posting some of your big losing hand histories and we can look over where the issues are. Try not to get so down on yourself, as when emotions take over you are more likely to make dumber plays (not saying you did here, just more of a general statement).
  • we get it...maybe try something else as a hobby
  • well after my terrible post yesterday and feeling really bad due to poker or the meds not sure .the new day started and after re reading of some articles on finishing rounds in a small toureny, and some books on the subect reread passages,,,well low and behold after two torney's placing 199 and 541 in both ffields of 3000 each
then i entered a small 300 person sit and go i guess on poker stars for 10 cents and well here is the miricale i placed 2nd won 5 bucks small potatoes but none the less a every good finish so there is hope for me yet. i now what i was doing wrong in all the later parts ot toureny's to get kicked out with usuaully a good number of chips i played more aggressivly when i should have tightned up and played only top premium hands what a diff it made, now maybe its a one tourney lucky draw win but i will now apply this method to the next two days and see. off to the races lads and through the jib out for good luck, and straight sailing.
  • I would think later in a tournament your M is very low so you actually have to start playing more aggressively vs what you are suggesting. I haven't really played many 3,000 player tournaments online so I'm not sure what your stack is like relative to the blinds when you typically start having problems. If you have a low M, tightning up is definitely not a good strategy.
