  • I'm using the beta version right now. Its been helpful and I am going to purchase the full version.
  • It depends on what you play. If you are primarily a SnG player, I'd recommend SnG Wizard etc over PT. PT is useful to track your hands but since in SnG's by the late game it's all push fold, it can do some really strange things to your hand stats.

If you are a cash game player, GET IT, it's well worth the $89 pricetag. It can help you analyze and find leaks, keep statistics on your opponents and examine how you play your game overall.
  • I use PTH and PTO, I don't think I need the upgrade if I have to pay for it...although it has a better? HUD built-in I think. I'm not sure if PT3 is for Omaha as well?

The ? areas are actually questions does anybody know?
  • I think this one is also Mac compatible for those who owns a Mac

In pre-PT3 versions you would have to manually import/enter sng and mtt results, a huge pain unless you are a very casual player.

Ya but is the HUD better than existing versions?
  • The HUD is faster and you can configure different HUD stats for cash vs tourney games.
Beats having to reload the layouts in the old version.

    i won't hold that may 15
looks like alot of problem now
    more realistic date.......unknow
even after it's official, there is gonna be tons of bug.
    just look at hold'em manager.
it's pretty good software, they are working hard to add new feature and kill bug. but still alot of bugs.
  • Personally, I don't seem the need given that PTH and PLO seem to do the job right now.

    do you play mainly PLO?
one of big problem with PT2
    too slooowww
    on importing, and data gathering.
    plus no 3bet/4bet statis
if there is no need, then no need.
if there is need. you may want to check out pokerev
    creator say he'll included Ohama.
  • I play both. I'm not big into analyzing stats, I just use it to record results and review some hands now and then. As far as I can tell it's just holdem at the moment -- it would be cool to be able to have one graph for all results but I'm not sure if that will be possible.
