Buses to Rama, Niagara, Fallsview

Can someone post the sites to book rides to the casinos and which ones have the best value/arrival and departures? This is for a single passenger and not a group. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you

Only ever paid $5 on way to Rama...never paid a cent more.

And Fallsview is $25 (or was it $30) and you get a $20 voucher back. Same thing for me, never paid more than $5 round trip on Safeway.
  • I never see people give more than a $2 tip on TaiPan for Rama.

Safeway for Fallsview has a "real" cost of $5 if you have a player's card (available free from the casino). They charge $15 if you have a player's card, & you get a $10 voucher back. If you don't have a player's card, then it's not worth it.

CoachCanada for Fallsview is about $13 with a player's card, but you get $10 back so it's really $3. Without a player's card, not worth it.
  • Any buses going to and from Hamilton to Niagara Casinos?

Don't take this from KW->fallsview. It's the g-damn milk run and takes more than 3 hours twisting down Hwy 8, even stopping in downtown Hamilton. Thats one bumpy-ass highway too, you can't even sleep on that thing!

    Must've been $200...since $100 was 1/2.

FV 2/5 NL is $300 max, FV 5/5 NL is $500 max. There are tons of 5/5 tables at FV, more than Rama has 2/5 tables.

  • Any good bus services from Richmond Hill area to Niagara on a frequent basis? Do I have to catch a specific bus back or can I pay a fee and take a later bus back of my choice?

Looks like Safeway is a good option, $7 each way.
  • Safeway tours does round trip 5 dollar shuttle to fallsview and depending on the location usually hourly. Just make sure you have a pac card and a 5 dollars.

I used to take it all the time, sleep on the ride up and then sleep on the ride home not having to worry about traffic or weather etc.

Their site will give you stop locations and departure times. You can leave anytime you want from fallsview but you get put on standby but I have never had an issue.

Great, looks good as it picks up in my neighborhood. Usually I would drive but hate dealing with Oakville traffic. Wonder if it takes 407 most of the way from Richmond Hill?
  • Safeway is on time unless there is a weather related issue. Most times they take the fastest route whether it's the 407 or 401. Sometimes we have been on the 407 right from scarborough sometimes 401. Also depends on if they are making the scheduled stops or another bus is doing that pick up

I think the last pickup from Rich Hill is Yonge/Hwy 7 so its an easy jump onto the 407. I just want to make sure I can catch any bus back not be stuck taking a preset bus.

Yup your trip is for 4 hours, so after 4 hours you are guaranteed your seat back home. If you stay longer you are put on standby. You can come back anytime providing they have space which they normally do as everyone comes back at different times, very rarely people come back on the bus they came up on.

I used to take the 9am which would come back around 4 in scarborough and I always left at 9-10pm, just be mindful of session fees, if I knew I was leaving at the 10pm bus I would get up from the table at 930 to ensure I was one of the first ones for a standby seat in case they only had a couple and I didn't want to wait an hour for the next one

Tell me about it! That's why I've been living out of Niagara Falls hotels (for as low as $15/night) since WPT Fallsview was announced. Anybody know a great real estate agent who specializes in the Niagara Falls area?

It's $7 now, and there's free wifi on the bus. Definitely not a bad option.
