In Edmonton
So right now I am at the Mayfield Inn in Edmonton. My friends and I flew in yesterday morning and we checked out the YellowHead Casino. The pokerroom is really crowded but sufficient enough for the games. The tables are horrible though, very oddly shaped from what I am use too. I played some $4/8 half and half (which is half texas and half omaha) and broke even. Then I played some $10/20 with a kill. Bought in for $500, was down to $175 and won a $925 pot with AKdiamond with the kill on. After that I felt like I just got lucky and was not playing my best so I left the table and watched my friend play in the Omaha tournament. He busted out comming 57th which was dissapointing for him. He came 2nd in the Omaha event at Regina last year so he was hopping to do good here.
