Europe Poker

Hi all

Well i am back in the Amsterdam with the usual suspects. I am working for a site that primarily deals in european poker info, and playing poker on the side of course!

In the past i have met members from pokerforum.ca in Europe, and have given some sound advice to other travellers. Point being, if you need to know anything about the poker or travel scene out here, now you know where to ask :-)

  • Welcome back. I was wondering what ever happened to you and your crazy Marcel Luske poker life.

    Nice to see you back
  • I think I actually posted a couple months back asking whatever happened to you. I think the last post I saw, you were heading to Asia.

It's too bad. I was in Germany and Italy last fall and could have used this type of advice.

I hope you find the time to post here from time to time sir.

Every time I see the "Ding Ding Ding" thread I wonder where you went.
  • what countries have legal poker in clubs vs casinos? I heard Ireland has legalized poker clubs. Not sure about the rest of Europe. Cheers.
  • Hey guys!

I was outta the poker scene for awhile, and grinding it out in Japan / Vancouver but now im back into poker. Working with Noah these days.
When I was Japan I actually played a couple tournaments with American expats and army soldiers. 1st and 2nd... it was awkward a bit, I had to pretend I didn't know what I was doing to not sour the level of fishiness.

The question about clubs, that is a tough one. Poker is getting hugely popular in Europe, and all the gaming companies and casinos want to get the govt's involvd. I know in Holland poker clubs are illegal per se but no body cares. Didnt the gutshot guys in london just get into some kind of troubles? Anyways thats a good question, and i am not 100% country by country.
