Chip Purchase - Thoughts
Thinking of picking up some Nexgen Lucky Bees. 1000 chips for $300.00. Like the fact that they are non-denom chips, and an upgrade from my current dice chips (doesn't everybody start with these?). Question is, should I hang onto the 300 and wait til I can afford "the good stuff?"

I'd get some samples.
I have a couple, they are nice. But I'd rather have $300 in high end chips and use the dice chips for low denominations to complete your set than have 1000 Nexgens with labels. This is personal preference but here's what I'd do on a budget.
If you play .25/.50 cash game use the dice chips for .25 and use the high end chips for $1 and $5 chips and get a few secure custom chips for your $25 chips.
If you're not sure what you want you could go to Brantford tonight and get $300 in whites and pinks and use them for now until you decide what you want. Or go to Fallsview and pickup all the .50 chips off the Bacarat tables... Later when you decide what chips you really want you can always cash in the Brantford chips.
Later on you can complete your set with all high end chips if you want.
def. check out some samples; or talk to Moose, he's a chip-God!
