  • Thanks. Rogers Sportsnet (cable 953 in my area) lists "European Poker Tour" and Sportsnet-East (cable 151) lists "Aussie Millions Poker" in that time slot, but I've noticed many of the poker shows have wrong listings or description.

  • It was listed as EPT when on originally (and I think it is part of the EPT)
  • Yeah PCA is an EPT event

No kidding! I don't know how many times I've programmed the PVR to record a poker show on one of the Sportsnet channels, only to find 3 hours of boxing or god-knows-what the next day!

They do it intentionally to screw with my MythTV box... I eventually just look for the word Poker on any channel and get my fix that way. Have to remove a bunch of dupes but there are worse things in life.

I built one too a few years ago. Don't use it much anymore
  • I also saw this broadcast. I thought the same thing (is this one of our forum members) when he was moved to the final table.

PCA is part of the European Poker Tour. It is there only event outside of Europe. The show is the one that gets down to the final 9. I think Chorny was 13th and won about $80k.

That kid that knocked him out was a real punk for making that remark. Even the commentators thought it was out of line.
  • Maybe it's just me, but it seems like there's a real lack of etiquette these days. I see ridiculous slowrolls, not only do they slowroll but they slowroll when they're supposed to show 1st (as they were the aggressor) & with the nuts or 2nd nuts. They're supposed to show 1st, wait for the other guy to show, then proceed to take their time before revealing the nuts or 2nd nuts. Or how about getting their $ in bad, where they refuse to show their hole cards, then when they hit a miracle river, they slamdown their cards & act obnoxious about it. Or calling time almost immediately on a guy just for spite, because you lost a big pot to that guy in a recent hand. Or guys who are notorious for putting on the most bad beats out of anyone (because they got their $ in bad so often), who then berate others who put bad beats on them.
