Hi guys (and girls) Im obviously new here and too lazy to figure out where the punctuation is on my friends godforsaken macbook. My name is Kev and Im relatively new to poker (about 3 years experience) I turned 18 last october so now i get to play online legally and Im loving it.
Now the part Im most likely to get flamed for

Im currently looking for someone to stake me...

I know it makes for a real crappy post, but I need to get some extra income going on, because so far, all the money i make at work is going into my education (advanced luthier formation) (making, editing and repairing guitars, basses and other stringed instruments)

I seriously consider myself an excellent player for someone my age. I seriousely suck in ring games though. I mainly play heads-up games (my best) and sometimes in 9 player sit n go games (just because you always get 1-3 dumbasses that go all-in in first to rounds with something like ace-ten)

Im open to whatever deals anyone can offer me (even though Ill probably get flamed and/or banned) but hey, what the hell, cant I at least try?

Welcome to the site, but if you are ever looking for someone to even consider staking you, you need to show solid proof of your trackrecord... that means OPR, Sharkscope data, plus proof that you own the accounts attached to them.

If you have documented results (PTracker or other online databases) then you should try getting staked on 2+2, I doubt you'll find anyone interested on a small site like this.

deathtilldawn poker is a Crypto skin thats basically setup to stake people. Bad option for a winning player though.

I'm not surprised at the number of negative posts, but you all realize that staking is very common in poker, no? With adequate winning statistics almost anyone can find a backer these days.

I think you meant to say. And I agree but why anyone who wins would want to share their profits is beyond me unless it was to take a stab at a much higher level, to share in the risk. At low levels that some talk about it makes no sense to me.

I have never understood that either, but hey, each to their own. Possibly by not having to worry about the money involved, they can focus more on the game. Also, some people may play better when they are being staked as it movitates them to not let the stakers down. Just an idea...
