Tsn - Wtf?

Ok I hardly watch highlights but I'm watching TSN to pick up the NCAA basketball results. My question is - When did it become cool to count players baskets rather than points? 3 times during the highlights both Dutch and the other guy say something stupid like 'he makes his 3rd of 8 and a half on the night'

WTF? Half baskets?

they all try to invent a new way of explaining events that we have understood forever. My skin crawls every time that bald boozo (Pierre?) call the boards the wall in a hockey game

and I don't expect I am the only person who chokes everytime I listen to someone tell me what they are "Into"
