GBH - nearby accomodations?

The girlfriend and I are heading to visit family in southern Ontario this weekend and we thought we might stop off at GBH for some poker. We'd like to play until very late Friday. Any decent yet reasonable accomodations in the area?

    At the moment there really isn't any accomodations close to the GBH. There might be a motel in Port Perry.

    They're planning on building a new casino with hotel in the next couple years. This is a go for sure, just not certain when completion will be.

    Other than renting a cabin or cottage by Lake Scugogg, there are no hotels nearby unless you drive south to Whitby.

    Where are you coming from and where are you going? GBH is really in the middle of nowhere.

    We were going from Ottawa to Waterloo. We ended up playing at 1000 Islands. Great deal on hotels there. $99 for suite with 42" plasma, fireplace and hot tub in living room - Holiday Inn Express - very nice.

    Hi there I am the TD there and one of the Poker Managers. I replying to let you know that a lot of our regular "out of towners" prefer to stay at the Sanman hotel located just south of 7A off of Hwy 12. If you go to KnowAbout Motels, Motel Rooms in Port Perry Ontario Canada
